Is it safe to put fragrances such as scented oils, into a humidifier to get the scent into the room?

Probably, but I would not personally do that - I am into organic and natural things, I have a fear of chemical things!!!! I do personally use essential oils that have not had chemicals added, and that way I know I am not breathing anything harmful. You can get essential oils in almost every fragrance, orange, tuberose, sandalwood, pine, eucalyptus, lavender, too many to list, and they would all be safe to inhale as much as you want. I have severe allergies and a little asthma, so I have to stay away from the man-made stuff. Is it safe to put fragrances such as scented oils, into a humidifier to get the scent into the room?
Unless recommended by the manufacturer of the humidifier it's probably not a good idea. Some oils can cause problems with the functions of the humidifier and also clog the holes that release the steam.

Is there such thing as a gentle cleaner and cream that has no alcohol, fragrance and oils?

And that is not over the counter but commercial? Used for rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis skin? Dove soap for sensitive works wonders but I need something else too please. Just to let you know I have tried Cetaphil cleanser and cream I broke out. I also tried Eucerin and broke out. Is it because I am using way too much?? And if it still does leave my skin VERY red and splotchy is that healthy because isn't it extracting the rosacea from my skin?? Thanks!! =)Is there such thing as a gentle cleaner and cream that has no alcohol, fragrance and oils?
Aveeno is a very good option. It sounds like you need some additional prescription treatments, since you did not mention that you were taking anything, to treat your rosacea. There are now some very effective options: Plexion cleanser is very good, as are the topical treatments Finacea and Nicomide-T. You may be using too much moisturizer if it's making you break out, but not all skin really needs moisturizer, especially if your skin is oily.

You can try Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser -- it does not contain alcohol or oil, but it does contain a small amount of fragrance (essentially just enough for masking the smell of the other ingredients) -- you can tell how much of something is in a product by the order in which it's listed on the ingredient label. You can also try Basis Sensitive Skin Bar; it does contain almond oil and a trace amount of lanolin alcohol, but it is designed for sensitive skin, and is very well reviewed on drugstore.com by users. If you skin is oily, choose the Neutorgena; if your skin is dry/normal, choose, the Basis Sensitive Skin Bar.Is there such thing as a gentle cleaner and cream that has no alcohol, fragrance and oils?
I also have a very sensitive skin. I only wash with Aqueous cream ( hypo allergenic and fragrance free)

And I only use Bio Oil on my face and neck area. At first I didn't think that it was working well, but I really saw a difference in two weeks time.

Oh, and please drink lots of water.
All lotions and creams (even natural ones) will have alcohol in it. Its because w/o it the cream would never completely rub in. You need a little alcohol to evaporate the wetness on your skin. I would try a vitamin e cream. Sold at most health food stores. Also try taking vitamin e is does wonders for your skin. Also I would use a natural soap. Dove sensitive is not gentle enough for my dry skin and cause my eggsama to break out. Try a natural oatmeal, glycerin, or olive oil soap. also found at health food stores.
Aveeno is good for sensitive skin and makes cremes for extra dry or itchy skin

Where can I buy fragrances or oils that smell like black licorice?

I heard the scent of black licorice attracts women. I searched the internet and can't find any stores that sell this. Anyone know?Where can I buy fragrances or oils that smell like black licorice?
The only cologne that I know of with black licorice in it is by Lolita Lempika which has licorice and vanilla in it. It actually smells really nice and you should be able to find it at Sephora, Nordstroms or maybe online.Where can I buy fragrances or oils that smell like black licorice?
you can always try a oil that smells like it such as sandel wood
Patchoulie is the scent that comes to mind and most incense stores and possibly Pier One sell it..
Anise is the spice you are looking for. I know you can find it at health food stores, but I don't know if it will come in a fragrance. Maybe you could make one for yourself.
Maybe the body shop, they have lots of oils. I don't think it would attract women though, maybe just make them hungry for candy, haha.
Did you try any herb stores? You may even have to search on the web.
I think that I would run the other way if I smelt a guy that smelt like black licorice. Now red would be a different story!! =) I wouldn't recommend it..sorry!!

  • What are the best sites to purchase Candle Fragrance Oils?

I am going to do homemade candles this Christmas for friends and family. I need a good website to purchase fragrance oils to scent my candles. I am not going to be making mass quantities of candles so I am trying to find a site that has good deals on small quantities. I've been to about 20 different sites I found using Google but I don't know anything about the sites and if the fragrance oils are any good.

creativeilluminations.com had the best deal I found. Their sample packs are on sale for $9 dollars instead of the usual $20. This means I could get ten 1oz bottles for $9, but I do not know anything about their product or their site reputation so if anyone has dealt with them and their fragrance oils please let me know what you thought.

Also any recommendations on sites with good quality scents at affordable prices would be appreciated. Thanks! What are the best sites to purchase Candle Fragrance Oils?
brighterscents.com and creativeilluminations.com seem to be one in the same i have bought from both and i have been very happy with the results from both . i have been making gel wax candles for a few years now, and getting your scents from a hobby store just doesn't cut it they only carry a few scents and they are over priced.

Is it true fragrance oils can actually relieve stress and Anxiety?

I've been trying to research ways to bring peace into my life, and I keep coming across sites claiming these fragrance oils can ease tension, stress and anxiety, and calm you. I need to know if its a waste of money, or if it actually works, because these oils are not cheap. I have been really stressed out, and am always having constant headaches because of it. (My fiance passed away in April, and my step dad passed away in May, SO my life has been torn down, Im trying ANYTHING to bring a little peace.) Does anyone know if these fragrance oils work, or anything else that works to reduce stress, and calm you? Thanks for the help.Is it true fragrance oils can actually relieve stress and Anxiety?
I don't know about the oils but candles always made me feel better, they are cheaper too. Of course I am always on quite a lot of medication too. You know sometimes people need a bit of medical help with grief. When my grandmother died the doctor gave my grandfather lexipro. It doesn't have to be a permanent thing. I am very sorry for your troubles.
