Take that worm answer up there
Oh boy did you just open up a can of worms lol.

It so depends on what you want to do with the oil you've extracted.

The oldest method is layering them with fine layers of Linseed in jars with a rock on top.

Leave for a week to set.

And than pressing the oil out of the linseed's.

If you're in a warm area of the world this works fine.

There's also the method of putting flowers or herbs directly into oil.

Just loosely fill up a jar with flowers and pour on a neutral oil to absorb the scent.

Put in a warm place for a week or 2.

Warm would be something around 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

No direct sunlight.

Direct sunlight is a big No.

Specially for scents.

If you don't live in a warm area just put your jars close to the heater.

But if you want to get this right you should go to a library and dig through a pile of books.

There are some quite good books out there but mine are all in dutch so i can't advise you what books.

But several witches made good web-pages and second hand shops have good cheap books.

You can make wet pot pouri you can extract it in salves.

You can use oils and seeds.

Or you can build a small laboratory set up if you want to extract pure essential oils.

There's just so much out there and it so depends on what you want to do with them.
that top answer sounds good to me..........................
