My lye soap turned gritty and separated after adding fragrance oil?

would not come out of it. I had to pour it into the molds, was going to trace fast. Will it be any good, or will I have to toss it? Can it be rebatched?My lye soap turned gritty and separated after adding fragrance oil?
it will probably have to be rebatched, but you really won't know until you unmold and cut it. be on the lookout for small pockets of lye solution.





it's called ricing and sometimes you can get past it by splashing in some ice cold water and mixing with the stick blender - that rarely works for me, though, so I usually dump it from the soaping bowl into my crockpot and HPing it instead of molding, praying, and waiting.
