A soap recipe needs 10ml fragrance oil but the bottles hold 15g-is 10g the 10ml needed for the recipe? Thanks

That's all really - I'm trying to cost out some soap making and am not really sure how many mls there will be in the 15g (bottle? bag?)

I'm probably being a numpty here and in effect asking how long is a ball of string! But...your answers would be appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.

The best thing to do would be to pour it into a measuring cup.

You can't reliably translate mL (volume) into g (weight) without knowing the weight of the subtance.

Look at it this way

1 mL of water is going to be less grams than one mL of molasses.

10mL is just over 2 tsp.A soap recipe needs 10ml fragrance oil but the bottles hold 15g-is 10g the 10ml needed for the recipe? Thanks
10 ml is 2 teaspoons
